Visas

China: single entry

You enter at Guangzhou and leave from Guangzhou or Shenzhen, so one entry is enough.

Vietnam: e-visa

Apply online before the trip.

Thailand: Transit visa (TS)

  • For stops over 12 hours on the way home; up to 30 days. Single or double entry.
  • Apply in Kathmandu before travel (Thai Embassy or VFS, Thamel) with confirmed HCMC → Bangkok and Bangkok → Kathmandu tickets and a 6-month bank statement (THB 10,000 per person).
